In 2010, WGI Board Member and Mentor Susanna Styron traveled to Haiti with the Haitian American Nurses’ Association (HANA) to do relief work after the earthquake. While there, she made a short documentary about the trip (https://vimeo.com/19220584). Last weekend she was honored to receive a Breaking the Glass Ceiling Award from the Haitian Cultural Heritage Preservation founded by Berthilde Dufrene (in photo on left) — HANA founder, nurse, activist, superwoman — whom she met and bonded with on that trip.
